Buddleja davidi

Autumn Beauty

B. ‘Autumn Beauty’ is distinguished by its comparatively late lilac pink flowers in August to early October, so making it a very useful nectar source for late season butterflies and bees. It does not have the most striking of flowers, so check out B. ‘Longstock Autumn Delight’ (B. ‘Autumn Beauty’ x B. Sugar Plum)

History

A British selection which was cloned from a seedling grown at Paignton Zoo, another Buddleja collection holder, using seed sent from Beijing.
