limitanea

B. limitanea has small pendulous terminal panicles with relatively few flowers. The virtually scentless flowers is usually purple violet and appear in late summer.

History

Discovered by George Forrest in Yunnan in 1912 and in northern Burma in 1914, it was described by William Wright Smith in 1916.
